Bespoke 3D-Printed Orthotics
Bespoke orthotics are a highly effective way to correct foot alignment (over- or underpronation, avoid pressure points, pain, etc.). But some people are put off the concept as they believe they are only suitable for "sensible" shoes. That's not the case at Neston Chiropody & Podiatry where we provide bespoke 3D-printed orthotics to fit almost any footwear.

Verruca Needling/Multiple Puncture
Persistent, large or multiple verrucas can be a real problem as they can be both painful and unsightly.
Although there are many 'over-the-counter' topical products, they're often ineffective on multiple, large or persistent verrucae.
Needling/Multi-Puncturing offers a more permanent solution to the problem.
Widely used in the USA for decades, Needling or Multi-Puncturing verrucas is fairly new in the UK, as it requires a local anaesthetic. Neston Chiropody & Podiatry is one of the few clinics with the expertise and qualifications to offer this treatment.
Using a local anaesthetic to numb the foot, the verruca(s) are punctured multiple times to stimulate the immune system to create the required antibodies to fight the virus and kill the verruca(e) within the deeper dermis.

Biomechanics & Gait Analysis
We offer an array of gait analysis and biomchanical assessments at neston Chiropody & Podiatry on the Wirral. Theseinvollve the joints, muscles, and tendons in the feet and lower legs; evaluating how they move (gait analysis) and are positioned (biomechanics).
From these we can see and assess any problem areas such as joint misalignment, favouring a leg or foot, flat feet, knock knees, weight imbalance, etc. We can then help and advise to addrress any issues.
This ranges from simply being made aware of a problem, exercises to alter your gait and strngthen any weak areas, orthotics, footwear advice and/or strapping.
From elite sports people to everyday walking, gait analysis and biomechanical assessments can help to identify problems and also prevent future, more serious, problems or pain.
